- “Point Pleasant” was partially filmed in San Diego, but set in a New Jersey beach town.

- When Elisabeth was a little girl growing up in Riverside, Calif., she conspired with a friend to shock her mother into believing she’d been hit by a car. When Mom gasped, Elisabeth popped out unscathed from behind a door. “Unfortunately my mom was holding my little brother at the time,” Harnois remembers all too well. “I could tell it wasn’t funny.”
